ETHIOPIA "Oromiyaa" - Sidamo Guji Grade 1, Light Medium Roast

ETHIOPIA "Oromiyaa" - Sidamo Guji Grade 1, Light Medium Roast

The Guji region of Sidamo, where our beans come from, is one of the world's most revered coffee growing areas. Guji is named after a tribe of the Oromo people and "Oromiyaa" is one of the nine ethnically based regional states of Ethiopia. The beautiful, single-origin coffee grown in the amazingly fertile soil features a smaller bean and is known for its deep spice and fruit, lemony or cocoa-like taste and aroma. Coffee grown natively in Sidamo is heirloom. This is an exceptionally lovely coffee any time of day.

Today, key producing regions include Harar, Sidamo, Yirgacheffe (in Sidamo), Limu, Djimmah, Lekempti and Bebeka. Ethiopia produces a wide range of coffee with each region’s beans having very distinctive characteristics. These beans are some of the best and most popular in the world.
